Chapter 75 – I want to make another wish

Clark didn’t dare to mention anything related to Whitney after saying something irrational last night.

He went to school with David in a gloomy mood.

After two classes, the bell rang.

A stylish and breathtaking figure carrying a bag strolled into the classroom, looking more like she was going shopping than attending class, her slender legs leisurely entering the room.

“She’s so beautiful!”

Everyone’s attention was drawn to the stunning figure, and the classroom was in an uproar.

“How can there be such a beautiful woman?”

Pete’s eyes were fixed on the woman, unable to look away.

Other students were equally amazed, and even some female students showed a shy and stunning expression, causing Chloe to blush.

“Wow, who is this lady? Her beauty and charm are irresistible to people of all ages and genders, even stones would be moved.”

“Who are you?” someone stood up and asked, “Did the new teacher come to the wrong classroom?”

“I am the new biology teacher, Aegon. Have you forgotten me?” Aegon casually placed her bag on the podium, dressed in a fashionable and beautiful red jacket and extremely short denim shorts. She looked at the whole class with a tone as if she were coaxing kindergarten children, smiling.

Her eyes lit up as if she had found two good seedlings.

“Aegon, the teacher?”

Everyone was surprised and puzzled, looking at each other.

Aegon’s appearance was stunning and sexy, but there was a hint of unreality, like a carefully carved plastic doll, exuding a sense of unnaturalness from head to toe.

Clark, sitting at his desk, couldn’t help but wonder why this woman was impersonating Aegon.

“But…”

Someone wanted to say something.

“Am I not Aegon?”

Aegon’s eyebrows furrowed as if she felt a little aggrieved for not being recognized, with a hint of anger in her eyes.

“Are you Aegon, good morning, Aegon.”

The students in the class responded in unison, as if they were sitting in rows like well-behaved children.

David and Clark looked around, and Pete, Chloe, and others were all in a daze, staring at Aegon as if they were bewitched, believing everything she said.

After the response, there was a dead silence in the classroom, and the eerie scene made people shudder.

“Why aren’t you bewitched?”

Aegon, who was about to start searching for new butlers, suddenly noticed that two people in the class were still awake, the only ones who were not affected by her charm.

The two young men looked at the other bewitched students in surprise, standing out in her eyes, like a row of sunflowers facing the sun, but two of them were facing elsewhere.

A look of astonishment appeared on Aegon’s face as she stared at the two.

“Why are you able to resist!”

Even before becoming a deity, no one had ever been able to ignore her abilities.

“Who are you, and what have you done to them?”

Pete, who wanted to shake off the bewitchment, was annoyed when he was stared at by Aegon, and Clark clenched his fists, standing up in anger.

All the students in the class were under control, losing their normal consciousness and being manipulated.

“Are you really Aegon?”

Since she had been discovered, David had no intention of cooperating with her to hide the fact that he was not bewitched, and he stood up slowly, squinting at her.

She had the same abnormal charm ability, but she was completely different from yesterday’s Aegon.

“A woman with such abilities and beauty would not impersonate a woman who is inferior in every way.”

But he couldn’t explain how she had changed so drastically in just one day.

“It’s impossible that God has intervened, rewarding her faithful belief and enhancing her abilities, and incidentally making her more beautiful.”

A thought flashed through David’s mind.

“Answer my question, how did you do it? Why are you not affected by me?”

Aegon’s face turned ugly and unacceptable. The day after she had become the deity of love and beauty, someone was able to resist her charm.

“Turn them back.”

Clark flashed out of his seat at lightning speed and grabbed Aegon’s wrist before speaking in a deep voice.

Looking at the classmates who were all smiling with infatuation, the bizarre situation that defied reason made him extremely uneasy.

As Clark shook her wrist, Aegon tried to break free but felt a tremendous force holding her back.

Clark was also surprised, feeling as if he had grabbed the tail of a mythical python, and the struggling force grew stronger.

Snap!

Aegon shook off Clark’s hand, narrowed her eyes, and exhaled, a sweet fragrance rushing towards Clark’s face.

“What did you do to me?”

Clark staggered back, blushing, his heart racing uncontrollably. The sight of Aegon was so beautiful that he couldn’t help but want to kneel at her feet.”Wait, why am I thinking like this?”

He shook his head violently, breaking free from the enchantment, and glared at the other person.

“Don’t try to control me.”

“Hehe.”

“Clark Kent, David Kent, what secrets do you brothers have?”

With a brain as wise as a deity’s, Aegon recalled the classmate list with photos that she had hastily looked through before. Her expression changed constantly as she provocatively looked at the two of them, grabbed her bag, and left a trail of afterimages as she headed out of town.

“If you want them to return to normal, then come with me.”

With the wish stone in her hand, she wasn’t done playing yet and didn’t want to attract attention from others. She decided to deal with these two guys on the outskirts of town.

“Don’t even think about running.”

Clark quickly caught up.

“I’m curious about the secrets you have.”

Glancing at the classmates around him who seemed confused, David muttered under his breath. A purple energy ripple appeared around him, and he followed suit, chasing after them.

Not to mention freeing Pete, Chloe, and the others from control, he was very curious about how Aegon, who originally had average abilities, had become so powerful!

On the outskirts of town, on a vast expanse of grass.

“Stop!”

Aegon, whose speed surpassed that of a typhoon, suddenly came to a halt. It wasn’t that she wanted to stop, but rather that she had been caught up to. Clark looked anxious as he placed a hand on her shoulder and grabbed her.

“It’s very rude to touch a lady’s shoulder without her permission.”

In an instant, her pupils shrank, and she smiled enchantingly, elbowing him.

Bang!

A shockwave exploded, and Clark grunted as if he had been hit by a speeding truck, flying out and stopping only when a hand was placed on his back.

“David.”

Clark, holding his ribs and showing a hint of pain on his face, turned to look.

After setting Clark down, David looked at Aegon, who had turned away not far off, and frowned.

This was very abnormal. Someone had actually repelled Clark without using a meteorite.

“You’re not from this town, are you? Where did you get this power from?”

This power exceeded that of the young Clark, and it was impossible for it to have come from a mutation caused by a meteorite.

“Of course, I’m from this town.”

Turning slightly to hide her bag behind her, Aegon concealed her surprise and smiled lightly.

“Don’t look so surprised. I’ve lived in this town for over twenty years and didn’t even know that there was such a miraculous pair of brothers in this town.”

She had previously tested her current speed and strength, which was faster than the speed of sound and stronger than a supersonic fighter jet. But just now, she had been caught up to.

After elbowing him, the power that erupted was enough to pierce through a building. Yet the older brother of this pair of brothers hadn’t broken a single bone, and the younger brother had effortlessly caught his flying older brother.

“What’s in your bag that you’re so concerned about?”

David, expressionless, keenly locked onto the bag in Aegon’s hand.

“Although this reddish-brown bag is high-end and beautiful, it shouldn’t be a rare treasure, and it shouldn’t be so important to someone with your abilities.”

Realizing that Clark and he were not so simple, he instinctively used his body to block the bag, which was a sign of not wanting the bag to be taken away.

“The bag, of course, contains my personal belongings.”

Aegon’s voice carried a hint of laziness and temptation.

“Do you want to see? David Kent, do you want to understand the world of women?”

“Sister, I can teach you.” She licked her scarlet lips, beckoning with her finger as if inviting a knight to charge.

“David, be careful, don’t get too close to her.”

Putting down his hand that had been rubbing his ribs, Clark was on high alert, reminding him.

“She can emit an invisible fragrance from her mouth. I was almost controlled by her just now.”

He was afraid that his brother might inadvertently fall victim to that ability and be unable to resist it.

“I saw it.”

David’s expression was indifferent.

Even the so-called magic-resistant Superman had not been successfully tempted. He didn’t think she posed any threat to him.

“Release your control over the classmates, Ms. Aegon.”

Clark shouted, raising his fist and charging towards Aegon.

“First, grab her bag.”

Standing in place, David reminded Clark, and his eyes lit up with a purple glow as two beams of energy shot out into the air.

Aegon’s pupils shrank as she quickly dodged the terrifyingly high-temperature rays. Before she could steady herself, Clark, accompanied by a fierce wind, had already killed her, throwing a punch.

She raised her arm to catch Clark’s fist, which was strong enough to sink a battleship, and then delivered a backhand chop to Clark’s neck.

Clark recoiled in pain, and before he could catch his breath, a sweeping kick came at him. He hurriedly used both hands to block it, feeling relieved, but a fist suddenly enlarged in front of him and struck him, leaving him with a black eye, and he stumbled back again.

Bang!

Aegon was about to press her advantage when a thick, purple energy cannon pierced the sky, burning the air. She was sent flying and left a deep trench in the ground as if hit by a missile carrying a hundred tons of TNT.

At the end of the trench, she quickly tucked the wish stone into her jacket pocket and discarded the bag as a burden.

“A stone?”

David’s eyes narrowed, showing a pensive look.

“Hiss…”

Clark stood up, his face serious, and blinked his injured eye unnaturally.Although it hurt a bit, luckily it wasn’t another part of the body that got hit.

“Being repelled by a woman with simple self-defense techniques, and you still dare to call yourself an Extraterrestrial.”

David flashed to his side, and upon hearing his brother’s mockery, Clark’s face turned red.

“I was careless.”

He resolved that once he got back, he would also learn some combat skills; he couldn’t keep swinging his fists around relying solely on his strength.

Clark had treated Aegon as one of the power users he had encountered before and suffered for it. Aegon was not someone he could afford to hold back against.

He stomped the ground, his form charging like thunderous rage, attacking Aegon.

David leaped up, tearing through the air, skimming the ground like a supersonic reconnaissance plane, and fought together with Aegon, who narrowly dodged Clark’s attack.

Boom boom boom!

The three of them fought, each strike tearing the air, the ground shaking as if three giants were clashing.

Near the forest, the ground looked as if a cluster bomb had been dropped; the air exploded, white shockwaves rolled and shook incessantly, stones flew, and the earth cracked.

He had never thought that there would be someone in the small town capable of withstanding his and Clark’s combined attacks, even if only for a short time.

“Faster than me, stronger than Clark, overall, she’s already very close to the strength of young Clark!”

David’s face showed astonishment.

He had a premonition that Aegon might very well be the butterfly effect he had set in motion.

This remote small town shouldn’t have someone so formidable.

“Damn it!”

Aegon, shocked, narrowly dodged an incoming energy Ray, suspecting that the wish granted by the wish stone had been greatly reduced.

“What kind of Deity?

Is there such a weak god?”

She was actually being beaten into a sorry state by two high school students from the town.

One was incredibly fast, as quick as lightning, making her attacks often miss.

The other was slower than her, but when her attacks landed on him, they were ineffective, like hitting a mountain forged of steel, and she was caught off guard. Each of his punches fell like meteors, nearly making her vomit blood.

Bang!

A deafening roar, a white circular shockwave exploded.

Arms blocking David’s attack, Aegon was sent flying dozens of meters, her body rolling several times on the ground like a stone skipping across water.

She abruptly got up, her hair disheveled, a faint burn mark blackening her chest, a trace left by David’s eye Rays.

Aegon wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, her cheek aching slightly, in a complete disarray, no longer resembling the beautiful goddess she was at the start.

“This is not the goddess I imagined; how could a Deity be defeated.”

She pulled out the wish stone from her pocket, her eyes fierce as she clutched the stone, ready to make another wish, regardless of any cost.

“I want to make another wish, I want to keep my appearance and become ten times stronger than I am now!!”

She shouted out loud.
