Chapter 11 – Want to be disciplined?

Ten years of a song, a perfect ending.

He Ju faced the audience and smiled calmly, “In the past, I was selfish and caused a lot of trouble for the person I liked. I’m sorry.”

He Ju stood on the stage and bowed sincerely.

Su Ran, who had been smiling, couldn’t maintain her composure. She even stood up directly, ignoring Fang Yuxue’s attempt to stop her.

Su Ran: “Brother He Ju, what do you mean by what you said today?”

He Ju smiled and finally faced Su Ran directly, saying, “Su Ran, I don’t want to like you anymore.”

Su Ran felt incredulous. In front of so many people, was he trying to retaliate against her for rejecting him in public?

In just a moment, Su Ran regained her unattainable appearance and said with a sweet smile, “Okay, He Ju, I wish you find your happiness soon.”

He Ju nodded without saying a word and then left the stage.

The audience was stunned, and there was silence for a moment.

It wasn’t until Su Ran abruptly left her seat that the audience gradually became animated.

“Is that He Ju? What does it mean for him to sing ‘Ten Years’?”

“What else could it mean? It’s a tribute to his ten years of liking Su Ran.”

“Why do I feel like he’s faking it?”

“No, I think it’s real!”

“Does this mean we can start pursuing Goddess Ran Ran in the future?”

“In theory, yes!”

The people involved didn’t hear the discussions of their classmates.

As He Ju walked out of the multipurpose hall and put on his hat to leave on his bike, he saw Su Ran running towards him.

In theory, he should have left quickly, but He Ju didn’t move.

This was the first time Su Ran had come to see him by running.

Su Ran quickly reached He Ju.

Su Ran: “He Ju, were you serious about what you said today?”

He Ju smiled, “Of course.”

Su Ran: “Even if I’m with someone else, you don’t mind?”

He Ju didn’t understand, “Ran Ran, you were the one who called me brother first.”

Now that he was willing to be Su Ran’s brother, why was she asking such a question?

Su Ran looked a little embarrassed, her face blushing slightly, and her eyes avoiding his.

He Ju thought Su Ran wanted to say something, and he even felt a little hopeful.

But to his surprise, Su Ran just said, “He Ju, if that’s the case, then I won’t bother you.”

After speaking, Su Ran turned and left, leaving He Ju with a beautiful back view.

He Ju’s heart sank, and his eyes darkened as he watched Su Ran disappear from his sight.

Bai Yan appeared out of nowhere and patted He Ju’s shoulder, sighing, “Let’s go, stop thinking about it.”

He Ju’s eyes reddened slightly. It wasn’t until Su Ran completely disappeared from his sight that He Ju withdrew his gaze and said faintly, “Let’s go.”

He Ju and Bai Yan each rode a bike out of the school with Li Dapeng and Zhang Da.

Bai Yan didn’t know what to say for a while and hesitated before asking He Ju, “Are you still unable to let go of her?”

Facing the evening breeze, He Ju’s slightly hoarse voice drifted through the air, “It’s not her I can’t let go of, it’s the ten years.”

Bai Yan didn’t know what to say for a moment and could only keep quiet, but he was thinking in his heart: It’s better if He Ju can let go of Su Ran, otherwise, Si Hua’s many years of affection will be in vain.

After leaving the school gate, He Ju, Bai Yan, Li Dapeng, and Zhang Da went to eat barbecue. The four of them drank and ate meat until the early hours of the morning.

He Ju was full of alcohol and swayed as he returned home. As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he saw a familiar figure, Si Hua.

She was wearing a simple set of pajamas, tied her hair in a low bun, and although she was makeup-free, she was still breathtakingly beautiful.

He Ju leaned against the wall and even felt a little dizzy. Before he could say anything, Si Hua came over and supported him, saying, “I’ll take you back.”

He Ju was feeling very dizzy and could only say, “Thank you, Sister Si Hua.”

He Ju was supported to lie down on the sofa. He felt so uncomfortable that he almost vomited.

He lay there in a daze, only hearing someone gently calling him to drink sobering soup. So he struggled to sit up and drank a cup of sobering soup with the help of that person, feeling a little better.

He Ju lay back on the sofa and, in a daze, he seemed to hear someone murmuring to themselves. But he was too tired, and his eyelids couldn’t lift, so he quickly fell asleep.

Naturally, he didn’t notice that after he fell asleep, the strong and decisive female powerhouse, in the eyes of others, had taken the opportunity to secretly kiss him, with an affection he had never seen before in her eyes.

The next morning.

He Ju was awakened by a hurried ringtone. It was his counselor calling to ask him to come back to school to sign a leave application.

He Ju had to quickly call Bai Yan and send a message to Si Hua before rushing to the school.

When He Ju came out of the school gate, Bai Yan was already waiting there on a small electric scooter. He saw He Ju coming out from a distance and stood up, waving his hand with excitement, “He Ju, He Ju! Dad is here!”

This shout attracted the attention of the people at the school gate, including Su Ran and Liu Jia, who were also leaving the school.

He Ju ran up to Bai Yan with his bag and kicked him, “Who are you calling Dad?”

Bai Yan playfully dodged and said, “Don’t try to trick me. Hurry up, get on the car. Dad bought two plane tickets and is taking you to Yunnan.”

He Ju was stunned, “When did you buy them? What time is the flight?”

Bai Yan: “The flight is at three in the afternoon.”

He Ju suddenly slapped Bai Yan on the back of his head, “I haven’t packed anything. Is this appropriate?”

Bai Yan was about to retaliate when he saw someone familiar approaching. He jokingly said in a low voice, “Your young plum is here~”

He Ju’s heart trembled, and he subconsciously turned around, only to see Su Ran and Liu Jia walking over together, with A University’s famous rich second-generation, Qiu Shaoze, by Su Ran’s side.

Qiu Shaoze, like He Ju, had pursued Su Ran for many years, but Qiu Shaoze was known as a playboy, and he pursued more than just Su Ran.

He Ju frowned, “Ran Ran, are you with Qiu Shaoze?”Su Ran flashed a sweet smile, looping her arm through Qiu Shaoze’s: “Right, shouldn’t brother He Ju be happy for Ran Ran?”

Qiu Shaoze’s grin was infuriatingly smug as he looked at He Ju with the air of a victor: “He Ju, sorry about that, but I got the upper hand.”

After saying that, Qiu Shaoze even had the audacity to kiss the back of Su Ran’s hand and brazenly wrapped an arm around her waist.

Before Liu Jia could react, Bai Yan’s fist was already swinging towards Qiu Shaoze’s detestable face.

“Ah—” A sharp scream was all the crowd heard before Qiu Shaoze was floored by Bai Yan’s punch.

Liu Jia was shocked, and He Ju’s expression darkened. He immediately grabbed Bai Yan: “Damn it, have you lost your mind? Do you want to get written up?”

Su Ran was also startled: “Bai Yan? What are you doing?!”
