Chapter 90 – Pick an easier target

It is the divine power of the guardian bracelet, which can automatically attract firepower and protect the wearer from arrows and bullets.

Diana wore it and held the divine power shield in her hand. With the divine power shifted, all the bullets hit the shield.

But the fortress’s protection is not limited to this.

Click, click!

On the high wall in the courtyard, heavy machine guns were manipulated by people, and the thick barrels were aimed at David and Diana.

Swish!

A purple energy beam shattered the entire machine gun, and steel fragments flew everywhere.

David pointed his finger, and the heavy machine guns on the high wall were shattered like fragile cookies. The fragments spread out, turning the entire front yard into a meat grinder.

Flesh and blood flew, and a group of frontline soldiers turned into corpses and fell to the ground, with smoke filling the air.

The lucky ones who survived hid in the corner, looking at David, who was shooting lasers with his fingers, with horror and fear.

“Devil, devil!”

David frowned, raised his hand to quiet the courtyard.

Immediately, a loud alarm sounded, echoing throughout the steel fortress built against the mountain.

Fully armed soldiers rushed out of the fortress with their guns.

Diana lightly shouted and leaped to kill. She wielded the Golden Lasso of Truth, and the golden glowing rope flicked like a whip, easily knocking down a dozen people.

She moved through the crowd like an agile female leopard, dodging bullets while swinging the lasso, and enemies fell in droves under her attack.

The soldiers, like a never-ending tide, seemed to be blocked by an insurmountable dam.

In the office.

Ishmael took out a pistol from the drawer, frowned as he looked outside, and his gaze passed through the heavy courtyard. He couldn’t help but furrow his brow.

He couldn’t casually use the power of the Hell Six Demons, otherwise, the war game that gave him his current abilities and status would not be able to continue.

But he saw something.

Some soldiers seemed to have been blasted into the air by a missile, flying up more than ten meters, but there was no smoke, only a flash of gold.

“That is… a lasso?”

Ishmael’s eyes were full of doubt.

“It’s the Lasso of Truth.”

A voice suddenly came from behind, and the ancient God of War appeared behind him at some point, looking out the window with deep eyes.

Ares recognized that artifact at a glance.

“Under the crown.”

Ishmael turned around in surprise.

“I sense the presence of my father. It seems to be my little sister.”

Zeus and the Amazonian woman gave birth to a demigod daughter, a trump card left by his cunning and hypocritical father to deal with him.

Ares narrowed his eyes.

For thousands of years, he had been searching for the Paradise Island hidden by Zeus’s power, but had never found it. Unexpectedly, the other party had delivered it to his door.

“And she brought a mortal?”

And it’s a male, the Amazon princess and a man.

“However, this mortal seems to be a little different,” he raised an eyebrow slightly.

Bang, bang, bang!

A few scattered soldiers fired their guns.

“Duck.”

The bullets fell at their feet, and a hint of coldness flashed across David’s face, reminding Diana. His eyes lit up with a purple light, and a terrifying laser shot out from his eyes.

Hum!

The unstoppable line of death swept through.

Whether it was a human body, steel, or concrete, everything was cut like hot knife through butter.

Diana swung the Golden Lasso of Truth, grabbed a corner of the eaves, but when the laser fell, the turret she grabbed collapsed, and she agilely jumped down.

Bang!

The turrets at the four corners of the courtyard collapsed.

No more fierce soldiers rushing out with their guns.

The laser covered a path of half a mile, penetrating everything. Anyone taller than the waist inside should not be alive.

David looked towards the mountain, squinting his eyes.

“Something is coming!”

A dazzling fireball in the distance, like a shooting star across the sky, flew towards them with a whistling sound.

“Is… it a demon?”

Diana’s eyesight cleared up the thing still hundreds of meters away, showing surprise.

Bang!

A figure like a shooting star heavily landed in front of them, creating a huge deep pit in the ground. The strong air wave blew the bodies on the ground like straw, and the terrifying flames melted the ground into magma, rising smoke.

Accompanied by the terrifying high temperature, a suffocating sulfur smell came, and a deep and thick voice, as if from some kind of monster, sounded in the smoke.

“You have the guts to kill all the soldiers in my base.”

The high-temperature steam and smoke dissipated, revealing a tall figure with red eyes.

Burning flames on the deep red skin and muscular body, a fierce face, and a pair of fierce and sturdy horns extending backward on the head, with a prominent pentagram pattern on the chest, emitting a terrifying aura.

“Shabak?”

David recognized this guy at a glance, showing surprise.

He had thought that after killing all the soldiers in this base, someone who controlled non-human power would appear, but it shouldn’t be this guy.

Even though this was Kan Dak, the timing was wrong.

Clang!

A deafening sound accompanied by the explosion of the air wave rang out in the courtyard.

Shabak suddenly made a move and flew towards Diana. Under the terrifying power, even though Diana raised her shield to resist, she was still blasted out, crashing through a corner of the nearby building.

Bang!Yanking her arm out from the wall, Diana brushed off the bricks from her body, her gaze sharp as she stared at Shabak in the courtyard. Clutching the Sword of the Fire God, she felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of facing a formidable foe, eager for the challenge.

“Is this the first time you’ve seen a demon? Do you know him?”

The two ignored his conversation, which only served to infuriate Shabak.

What concerned him more, however, was the sword wound on his chest, from which blood as thick as magma gushed from the bone-deep cut.

Yet before a single drop of blood could hit the ground, his wound healed instantly, as if by magic.

“Where did you get that sword?”

Shabak, who had never been injured since gaining his powers, looked at Diana with wary eyes.

This woman might be less powerful than him, but she was slightly faster, managing to strike him with her sword before he could raise his shield. What was more astonishing was that her sword could actually penetrate his seemingly invincible body.

The sister of the God of War?

Worthy of being the daughter of the Heavenly Father, he clenched his fists and then turned to look at David. Perhaps he should leave this daughter of the Heavenly Father to that ancient God of War and deal with the other one himself.

“You can consider him a powerful demon, on par with a Devil King.”

Standing in the courtyard, David raised an eyebrow as he sized up Shabak. It seemed Ares had not died in the war, and everything had changed as a result.

Shabak, one of the archenemies of Black Adam and Shazam, possessed the power of the Six Gods, while he wielded the strength of the Six Demon Kings of Hell.

“The six letters in ‘sabbac’ stand for the power of Satan, the invulnerable body of Aym, the wicked wisdom of Belphegor, the flames of Beelzebub, the evil courage of Asmodeus, and the flight of Crateis…”

As a formidable enemy of Shazam and Black Adam, Shabak’s strength was not to be underestimated, possibly not much less than that of the current Ares.

However, speed was not among his six abilities, so that was no concern.

“Boy, you’ve cost me quite a few soldiers; I will make sure your soul suffers eternal damnation in hell.”

After a brief assessment, Shabak decided to pick an easier target. With a murderous intent on his face, he raised his thick demonic arm, and the hellfire hot enough to vaporize steel surged like a tidal wave towards David!

“Die!”
