Chapter 64 – Never offend a woman

The entire room was stunned.

Everyone’s eyes widened in disbelief as they looked towards the entrance of the banquet hall.

The previously arrogant Xiao Qingdi was now struggling on the ground, unable to even get up.

Meanwhile, Ye Qiu stood victorious, calling Xiao Qingdi trash.

“Did that little doctor actually win?”

“Incredible.”

“Who would believe it if they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes?”

On the other side of the room.

Zhou Hao, Li Qiancheng, and Feng Youling all looked extremely displeased.

“Youling, is this what you meant by using someone else’s knife to kill?” Zhou Hao asked, clearly dissatisfied.

Feng Youling had planned to use Xiao Qingdi to get rid of the Dragon King, but unexpectedly, the Dragon King survived, and it was Xiao Qingdi who ended up beaten to the ground.

“Who knew that kid could fight so well? Damn it, things have gotten out of hand,” Feng Youling cursed. His face was bruised, and blood was still flowing from his forehead, making him look quite menacing.

“Brother Youngling, what do we do now?” Li Qiancheng asked fearfully. “That kid won’t kill us, will he? I’m really scared.”

Feng Youling replied, “He wouldn’t dare.”

“Why not?” Li Qiancheng asked.

Feng Youling said, “Who in Jiangzhou would dare touch us?”

“Didn’t he just touch you? Right, Brother Youngling?”

Feng Youling was speechless.

Zhou Hao whispered, “If I were that kid, I’d definitely take you guys out.”

“Why?”

“He beat Young Master Xiao to this extent. Even if he doesn’t die today, he won’t live long. He might as well take a few down with him before he goes.”

Zhou Hao’s words sent chills down Feng Youling and Li Qiancheng’s spines.

“So what do we do now?” Feng Youling asked seriously.

“What else can we do? Let’s wait and see,” Zhou Hao said, glancing at Qian Yanru, who was still unconscious nearby. That unfortunate woman hadn’t woken up yet.

At this moment, the short-haired woman who had come with Lin Jingzhi walked in from outside the banquet hall, holding a gun and looking a bit pale.

She had been knocked out by Chen Tianzheng earlier and had just woken up.

“Are you okay?” Ye Qiu asked with concern.

“Hmph!” The short-haired woman glared at Ye Qiu and walked behind Lin Jingzhi.

What does that mean?

Did I offend you?

Ye Qiu was a bit puzzled, then walked over to Bai Bing and touched her lightly to release her acupoints.

“Ye Qiu, I’m sorry…”

Bai Bing apologized to Ye Qiu with tears in her eyes.

In truth, Ye Qiu was a bit resentful towards Bai Bing. If it weren’t for her, none of this would have happened tonight. But now that things had come to this, what was the point of blaming her?

Ye Qiu said, “Everything is resolved now, no need to apologize.”

“If I hadn’t brought you to the banquet, you wouldn’t have almost been killed by them. Do you blame me?”

Bai Bing looked at Ye Qiu with teary, anxious eyes.

“Why would I blame you? If you hadn’t brought me to the banquet, I wouldn’t have known what high society is like. In fact, I should thank you.”

“Really?”

“Of course.” Ye Qiu said, “Sister Bing, stop crying, your makeup is ruined.”

Bai Bing finally smiled through her tears.

Not far away, Lin Jingzhi saw this and muttered, “White lotus.”

“Sister Bing, take a rest for now. I have some things to take care of.”

“What are you going to do?” Bai Bing asked quickly, feeling a bad premonition.

“Naturally, to finish what I started.” Ye Qiu picked up a wine bottle from a nearby banquet table and walked towards Feng Youling.

Even if Bai Bing was slow, she could see what Ye Qiu intended to do next and quickly tried to stop him. “Ye Qiu, don’t be reckless, stop now.”

Having already beaten Xiao Qingdi, stopping now would be the best outcome. She didn’t want Ye Qiu to continue, as it would be hard to end things peacefully.

As Bai Bing spoke, she ran forward to try to grab Ye Qiu, but she was a step too late.

“Bang!”

The wine bottle smashed over Feng Youling’s head.

Crash—

Feng Youling fell to the ground with blood streaming from his head.

When he saw Ye Qiu approaching with the wine bottle, Feng Youling had only one thought: to flee. But his legs felt like they didn’t belong to him and wouldn’t move.

Then, the bottle hit his head.

“Madman.”

Feng Youling cursed inwardly.

However, it wasn’t over.

Ye Qiu grabbed another wine bottle from the table.

Again?

Feng Youling began to tremble uncontrollably with fear.

“Ye Qiu, stop, can we go home?” Bai Bing grabbed Ye Qiu’s arm and pleaded.

“No.” Ye Qiu shook his head. “He dirtied my clothes; I won’t let him off.”

“I’ll wash your clothes, okay? If you keep this up, it won’t end well for you.”

Bai Bing knew the Jiangzhou Four Young Masters well. They were a unit; if one was harmed, they all were. Offending Feng Youling meant offending all four.

And behind the Jiangzhou Four Young Masters were four powerful families with complex relationships. If Ye Qiu killed Feng Youling, he would face relentless retaliation.

“Fine, I can overlook him dirtying my clothes, but he called Sister Lin a bitch. I can’t tolerate that.”

Bai Bing was stunned, not expecting Ye Qiu to be standing up for Lin Jingzhi.

For some reason, she felt uncomfortable at that moment.

“Ye Qiu, please stop, I’m begging you.” Bai Bing clung tightly to Ye Qiu’s arm. Seeing that he was trying to break free, she hugged his waist from behind.

Bai Bing knew this was inappropriate in public, but she didn’t care anymore.

Unfortunately, she underestimated Ye Qiu’s resolve.

“Sister Bing, let go of me, okay? I’ve never bullied anyone before, and today I want to try it.” Ye Qiu pried Bai Bing’s hands off and pushed her away. “I said I wouldn’t let anyone bully Sister Lin in front of me. Anyone who bullies her will pay the price.”

Bang!

The bottle shattered.

Feng Youling felt his mind go blank, a strong sense of dizziness overwhelming him, and then he lost consciousness.

Ye Qiu then looked up, his gaze falling on Zhou Hao and Li Qiancheng.

Zhou Hao quickly took two steps back.

“Ye… Ye Qiu, this has nothing to do with me. Don’t hit me, don’t hit me… boohoo…” Li Qiancheng cried in fear.

Ha, the Jiangzhou Four Young Masters, is this all they are?

Cowards.

Ye Qiu ignored them and walked over to Lin Jingzhi, smiling. “Sister Lin, it’s all taken care of.”

Lin Jingzhi looked at Ye Qiu with a complex expression, then sighed deeply. “Sigh!”

Ye Qiu saw disappointment in her eyes.

Why is Sister Lin disappointed?

As Ye Qiu wondered, Lin Jingzhi took the gun from the short-haired woman and aimed it at Xiao Qingdi on the ground.

“Bang—”
