The Casserly Abyss, Mire Prison layer, deep within the treacherous quicksand.
After three years of slumber, the golden beast’s body trembled slightly as the surrounding sand shifted, and then it slowly opened a pair of deep, serene golden dragon eyes.
Whoosh.
Saga exhaled and shook his body.
The worm skin covering his dragon scales, already dry and cracked, shattered into pieces.
Without the giant worm’s body, the worm skin gradually eroded over time in the quicksand, now riddled with cracks.
Moreover, when conscious, Saga didn’t need the worm skin to fend off the quicksand’s assault.
Exposed to the strange, devouring sand, Saga constructed a Force Field on his body surface, isolating the quicksand, not letting a single grain touch him.
If an ordinary abyssal prisoner ventured deep into the quicksand, no matter how resilient their defense, it would eventually deplete over time.
But Saga’s Power Essence was unique, unaffected by the quicksand’s consumption.
By deploying the Force Field, the quicksand couldn’t drain his psychic energy or stamina, making this perilous quicksand zone virtually harmless to Saga.
His entire vision was filled with the slowly flowing sand.
Yet Saga didn’t rush to leave the depths of the quicksand.
He stretched his body, stirring the surrounding sand, and assessed his current state.
Battle, fierce and brutal combat, often served as the best catalyst for dragon growth.
Temporarily reaching the demigod realm also provided significant stimulation.
After the all-out battle with the Titan God of Wrath, this dragon slumber, though not long, greatly enhanced Saga.
Before the dragon slumber, when he was in the Deep Sea Dragon City of the material world, he was at Legendary Tier 3, still in the early stages of Legendary.
Now, Saga had leaped three tiers, reaching Legendary Tier 6.
Not yet a high-ranking Legendary.
Legendary Tier 6 was the pinnacle of mid-tier Legendary.
One step away from high-ranking Legendary.
However, for a long-lived dragon, advancing three tiers in just three years was an astonishingly rapid growth.
If he could maintain this pace of one tier per year, within a century, even before reaching adulthood, Saga could become a quasi-higher deity, able to easily crush the Titan God of Wrath with a flick of his tail.
Unfortunately, such rapid growth was rare and unpredictable.
Saga’s three-tier leap was primarily due to the Dragon Soul energy’s boost. Though the Dragon Soul energy’s burn was temporary, it significantly stimulated his body.
In terms of size, Saga’s normal body length reached forty-three meters, with a wingspan of nearly a hundred meters, exuding immense pressure.
At over twenty-five years old, Saga had entered adolescence.
Adolescence spanned from twenty-five to fifty years, followed by youth.
“Before becoming a young dragon, I wonder if I can reach the demigod level.”
Saga pondered silently.
A juvenile Legendary dragon was rare but not unheard of in the dragon’s heritage. However, a young dragon demigod was unprecedented.
“It’s challenging, but not impossible.”
“If I reach the demigod realm, who in the material world could stand before me alone?”
Countless battles and victories had cemented Saga’s unshakable confidence.
Clenching and then slowly releasing his dragon claws, Saga felt the surging power within him, his eyes shining as he whispered to himself, “Even if I don’t reach the demigod level, with my current strength and Dragon Soul energy, I should be able to crush the Titan God of Wrath from the start, leaving him no chance to fight back.”
Gazing at the silently flowing sand around him, feeling the oppressive atmosphere of the Casserly Abyss, Saga couldn’t help but think:
“So, what about the Titan God of Wrath’s final self-destructive banishment?”
Shaking his head, Saga mused:
“Probably still hard to resist.”
The divine core was the essence of a deity, arguably the most powerful entity in the multiverse.
A weak deity, two major tiers above him, self-destructing the divine core to banish him was something he had no current means to counter.
Saga grabbed a handful of sand, watching it flow through his fingers.
“The Titan God of Wrath is belligerent but not brainless.”
“Realizing that I, still an early-stage Legendary, could kill him in the material world, he knew that if I continued to grow, no matter how many times he revived, he would always live in my shadow.”
The golden dragon grinned, revealing sharp fangs.
“This deity fears me; he was terrified in the end.”
“That’s why he self-destructed his divine core to ensure my destruction.”
“He knew that in the material world, due to the prime material world’s rules, self-destructing the divine core might not completely kill me.”
“So he chose to banish me to the Casserly Abyss instead.”
“The red light, quicksand, and swamps of the Casserly Abyss all have negative energy-draining effects, keeping banished creatures in a weakened state, unable to grow.”
Saga’s mind raced, contemplating the Titan God of Wrath’s intention in banishing him to the Casserly Abyss.
“No, it’s not just to limit my growth.”
“The Titan God of Wrath was banished to the Casserly Abyss with his followers, a group of Furious Titans. Though few, they are powerful, and his followers likely include demigods.”
“If the sphere I’m banished to is the Titan God of Wrath’s territory, he might have issued a kill order to his followers before his death.”
Dragon Soul energy, a form of soul energy, had significantly enhanced Saga’s psychic energy.
Now, Saga’s mind was clearer than ever.
In just a few breaths of thought, Saga deduced the Titan God of Wrath’s intent in banishing him.
Primarily, it was to have his followers in the Casserly Abyss kill Saga.
If unsuccessful, the Casserly Abyss would still limit Saga’s growth.
Realizing the invisible crisis, Saga felt no fear.
The golden dragon raised his head slightly, his eyes bright, whispering in the silent quicksand depths:
“But the Titan God of Wrath probably didn’t expect that the Casserly Abyss would have minimal impact on me. I can still grow strong here without restrictions.”
“If his followers come to hunt me, the kill order he issued will become their death knell.”
If the sphere contained the Titan God of Wrath’s followers, Saga would also harbor murderous intent.
To eradicate a deity and prevent resurrection, eliminating all followers was a good method. Though as long as sapient beings knew of a deity’s existence, resurrection was possible, the chances became slim, and the resurrection time indefinitely prolonged once followers perished.
“Let’s explore this sphere world and gather some souls to replenish the Dragon Soul’s energy in the secret realm.”
Saga flapped his dragon wings, preparing to leave the quicksand depths.
But to Saga’s surprise, as he tried to leave, the surrounding quicksand suddenly seemed to come alive, swirling like a vortex, creating a powerful tearing force.
Countless grains of sand surged, pressing against Saga’s body, trying to infiltrate him, but were all blocked by the Force Field.
“What kind of trickery is this?”
With a thought, Saga released a massive repulsive wave from his body, scattering the swirling sand.
The seemingly alive sand didn’t stop.
Encircling the hollow around Saga, countless grains formed solid tentacles, attacking fiercely, breaking through the repulsive wave, trying to entangle him, but were easily torn apart by Saga.
The futile attack ceased.
The surrounding sand calmed, no longer violent.
Saga sensed a will controlling the sand, seemingly present in all the endless grains, making it impossible to pinpoint.
Unable to find a specific target, Saga decided not to stay and fight.
Maintaining the Force Field defense, the golden dragon flapped his wings, rising from the quicksand depths.
Meanwhile.
The sand moved again, forming a massive face. As the lips moved, the sand rubbed and wriggled, creating a rough, obscure sound. Though distorted and strange, Saga understood the Dragon Tongue it used.
“I am the ancient primordial born with the multiverse, the first sandstorm in the world.”
“The gods call me—Destruction Sandstorm, King of Sand, Desert Tyrant.”
“Insignificant creature, serve me, release me from my seal, and I shall grant you eternal life and supreme power!”
The quicksand of the Casserly Abyss was partly the body of this Destruction Sandstorm.
Sealed by the gods, only a faint consciousness could influence the sand.
Saga’s unusual activity in the sand, unaffected by it, caught the ancient being’s attention. The sand mixed with its body could drain even a deity’s power, yet this mere Legendary dragon was unaffected.
In an instant, Destruction Sandstorm realized this dragon was special.
It initially tried to forcibly turn him into a puppet but, finding him difficult to handle, opted to lure and recruit him. If successful, the dragon could help break the divine seal; if not, no harm done.
“A sealed Primordial God? This Casserly Abyss is full of monsters.”
“Encountering a Primordial God so soon after arriving.”
Saga wasn’t sure if the being’s words were true.
But Primordial Gods were no trifling matter, and as a defeated deity, its situation was dire. Few dared to claim the title of Primordial God, so it was likely true.
Moreover, the dragon’s heritage recorded a Primordial God named Destruction Sandstorm, with only a simple name and a mid-tier deity status, lacking other details.
For the Primordial God who attacked him and then tried to negotiate, Saga had no goodwill.
Besides, the being stopped attacking not out of kindness but because it was currently weak and couldn’t handle him.
Saga suddenly opened his mouth, unleashing an electromagnetic pulse Dragon Breath without warning, tearing the sand face to shreds.
“You! How dare a mere insect attack a great ancient, primordial deity born at the dawn of the world!”
Destruction Sandstorm roared in fury, its damaged face howling.
To communicate with Saga, the face had gathered the deity’s faint will accumulated over millennia, now damaged by Saga’s attack.
“A sand king sealed in sand? Ha, sounds like a useless loser. Stay away.”
Saga sneered, ignoring the deity’s impotent rage, and accelerated out of the quicksand depths.
Whoosh!
With flying sand, the golden dragon broke through, bathed in the red dim light, hovering in mid-air.
Looking down at the quicksand.
Many grains of sand swirled, forming a hundred-meter-wide face on the surface.
“You will regret defying a Primordial God’s will!”
“Correction, a powerless Primordial God.”
Saga raised his head, the lightning between his dragon horns shining brightly, thousands of thunderbolts falling, illuminating the red world like daylight, striking Destruction Sandstorm’s face.
When the lightning dissipated.
The quicksand was charred black, with no trace of the deity’s face.
The golden dragon spread its wings, soaring into the sky, choosing a direction and speeding away.
Bathed in the dense blood-red light, Saga looked down at the endless sand.
“The Casserly Abyss is indeed full of hidden dangers, encountering a Primordial God so easily.”
“Destruction Sandstorm, a mid-tier deity, stronger than the Titan God of Wrath.”
Though he appeared dismissive, Saga took it seriously. Being targeted by a Primordial God was no small matter, and serving it meant opposing the gods, which was impossible.
Fortunately, the sealed Destruction Sandstorm posed no real threat to him.
“The first layer of the Casserly Abyss, a sphere world of quicksand and swamps.”
“The other spheres’ quicksand might also contain this deity’s will.”
“If so, the swamps might also be another sealed Primordial God.”
Meanwhile.
As Saga pondered this.
In another prison world.
A red dragon with golden streaks, dangerous and beautiful, leaped from the filthy swamp, dropping a nuclear fireball in disgust, evaporating a large area of the swamp in a brilliant explosion.
“Corrupt Mire, Swamp Lord?”
“A defeated deity, sealed and helpless, dares to demand my submission? Hmph, get lost.”
Before the rising mushroom cloud.
Yekaterina looked up at the red sky, her ruby eyes reflecting the spherical world extending backward.
“Saga, my dear brother, where are you?”
“Let me think, how can I reunite with you.”
Yekaterina smiled after a moment of thought, whispering:
“I’ll start conquering from this prison world, spreading my name as the Dragon Empress throughout the Casserly Abyss, reaching your ears.”
Then, Yekaterina unleashed destruction, laughing with dragon chants, releasing her hidden destructive nature.
“This place is wonderful.”
In the Deep Sea Dragon City, surrounded by orderly Metal Dragons, she was always repressed.
Now, in the Casserly Abyss, the Plutonium Dragon could fully unleash her nature, growing healthily and rapidly.
The Casserly Abyss prison plane didn’t limit Yekaterina; it enlightened her.
In another sphere world.
Saga, who had recently flown into the sky, now hovered, staring at the roadblock ahead.
The Casserly Abyss was full of dangers.
Shortly after encountering a Primordial God, Saga, having just dealt with a swarm of suicidal birds, now faced a new obstacle.
“Prisoners should know their place. The skies of Casserly are not for you!”
A deep reprimand echoed.
Reflected in Saga’s eyes was a gaunt, sinister dragon, exuding a strong evil aura, perfectly blending with the Casserly Abyss environment.
