Chapter 107 – Electromagnetic slave seal, ideological steel seal

“You shall be called Ilum from now on.”

After receiving its new name, the mutated slime paused for a moment, unsure if it was because it realized Saga didn’t intend to eat it, or because it was given a name. It began to bounce joyfully in mid-air, showing a happy and exuberant demeanor.

“Go on, continue to carve out the mining tunnels with the Amber Earth Dragon.”

Saga issued the command.

The wind-elemental form of the mutated slime hopped up and down as if nodding, then flew back to the surface, landing on the Amber Earth Dragon’s forehead to work together. A Subdragon and a slime, the two seemed to get along quite well in their cooperation.

Shark Tigers, Magic Lamp Fishmen, Amber Earth Dragons, slimes.

Apart from them, Saga also saw a group of stiff but strong Shark Tiger skeletons, under the command of a black shark wielding a bone club, tirelessly smashing the rocky walls of the mountain.

These were the skeletons transformed by the Demon Warlock Addison using the Skeleton Conversion Spell, from the dead Shark Tigers.

Different from ordinary skeletons.

The Shark Tiger skeletons had thick and sturdy bones, each like ironstone, with their massive skulls particularly noticeable, the edges of their upper and lower jaws embedded with rows of pale, cold, serrated fangs.

At first glance, they seemed even more ferocious than when they were alive.

The little skeleton was also here, wielding a large bone hammer made from its own ribs, clanging against the hard rocks, surrounded by shattered stones.

After watching the initial mining work of the gems by his minions and the Magic Lamp Fishmen slaves for a while.

Saga withdrew his gaze, then with a flap of his wings, he flew from the top of the Gemstone Peak, descending into a maple forest ablaze with fiery red colors.

“Gaga, master, what brings you here?”

A tall red maple tree rustled its canopy.

The resting Skull nestled within, supported by several bone hands, crawled out like a grotesque spider, hanging from a tree branch.

“Addison, I’ve realized there’s an invisible barrier between us that prevents me from fully trusting you.”

“I want to eliminate this barrier so that I can trust you better, and so that you can serve me better, rather than being on guard all the time, unable to demonstrate the value of a great Necromancer.”

Saga spoke calmly.

The Demon Warlock paused for a moment, then let out a habitual, strange cackle before speaking sincerely:

“My lord, I truly wish to follow you. Think about it, what reason would I have to betray you? My request is simple: to seek a fresh body with great potential, so that I can advance further on the path between life and death.”

“With your Tier 4 life level, you were able to kill a Death Knight beyond your tier, and you almost had me, a great Necromancer, capsized in the gutter.”

“I am certain that you will grow to a point that even I find inconceivable, so I have decided to follow you closely, hoping to gain your trust, to serve the dragon well, and then, with your blessing, to be reborn anew.”

The Demon Warlock’s words sounded very sincere and seemed quite reasonable.

“My lord, dragons and humans should trust each other more. Let go of your prejudice against me. With my loyalty, I can bring you many unexpected gains.”

It continued, the soul fire within its skull flickering incessantly.

“Dragons and humans should trust each other more. You make a good point.”

The Demon Warlock’s jaws clacked together, revealing a strange smile.

“My lord, the Thorn Isle sea tomb I told you about before truly exists; I know its approximate location.”

“Now that Moon Bay has stabilized, would you like to take a trip to Thorn Isle? I can guide you to explore the sea tomb and search for the legacy and treasures of legendary mages?”

The Demon Warlock offered proactively.

A smile appeared on Saga’s dragon face, and he shook his head, saying, “Yes, I am very interested in the sea tomb you mentioned, and I’ve been planning to return to Thorn Isle soon.

“However, before that, I need you to lower your mental and spiritual defenses and cooperate with me on something.”

“If it ends successfully, I will consider you a true minion, a minion worthy of trust.”

The day after consolidating Moon Bay, having achieved his long-set goal, Saga, with his surging emotions, agile thoughts, and strong psychic abilities, mastered the Mind Slave Mark, and combined it with his control over Electromagnetic Force, enhancing this Tier 4 ability—a strengthened version called the Electromagnetic Slave Mark.

Electromagnetic Slave Mark.

It forms a mark with psychic power and electromagnetic force, branding it into the target’s mind and spirit.

After a determination of soul strength between both parties, once successfully applied, the target becomes a servant of the one who constructed the Electromagnetic Slave Mark, with all thoughts and desires understood by the marker.

The marker can use the Electromagnetic Slavery to force the target to work for them, or subtly influence them, making the target unknowingly become a true servant according to the marker’s thoughts.

Compared to the ordinary Mind Slave Mark.

The Electromagnetic Slave Mark is undoubtedly more powerful.

Its most formidable aspect is that Saga can use the Electromagnetic Slave Mark as a medium to quietly infuse his will into the target’s thoughts.

This is something the Mind Slave Mark cannot do.

Mind Slavery is more coercive, but the Electromagnetic Slave Mark can subtly change the target, make them accept the change, willingly become a servant, and even consider the marker’s interests in everything, ultimately achieving an effect similar to a mental branding.

Furthermore.

This is not a traditional psychic ability.

Even Mind Warlocks of a higher tier than Saga would find it difficult to remove the Electromagnetic Slave Mark.

It is constructed with the combined influence of electromagnetic and psychic powers.

Moreover, creatures marked with the Electromagnetic Slave Mark, if a Mind Warlock later tries to remove it, will actively resist.

“What? Please, do tell.”

The Demon Warlock had a bad premonition and showed a hint of wariness.

“I’ve recently learned a psychic ability, hmm, called the Trust Mark, which can enhance the sense of trust between you and me.”

“Let me place a Trust Mark on you, so that we can completely eliminate the barriers between us.”

The golden Hatchling Dragon blinked innocently and spoke.

“That sounds good, and I would be happy for you to trust me more, but, master, my soul is weak now, and I fear it cannot withstand your psychic ability.”

The Demon Warlock spoke with a tone of difficulty.

“Don’t worry, this is a harmless psychic ability that won’t put pressure on your soul.”

“Relax your mind, do not resist or oppose, otherwise, there might be unpleasant consequences.”

The golden Hatchling Dragon waved its claw and said.

The Demon Warlock did not comply.

Whoosh. A wisp of pale blue flame ignited, enveloping its head.

“My lord, I’m afraid I cannot agree to your request.”
