Vol.2 – Chapter 13 – Croaked

“Wow~”

“Wow~~”

The tiger whale group cheered, following the lead whale away from the whale herd pasture, and arrived at the sea area where Su He was located.

Beast communication had no explicit words, only conveying thoughts. The ancestors said there were benefits here, so they came. Although the resident whales had fixed hunting grounds, migration was also a norm.

The lead whale led the whale group to dive into the sea, introducing them to their new king. However, halfway through, the whale group refused to move forward, swimming restlessly in the sea, unwilling to take another step forward despite the lead whale’s urging.

The other tiger whales couldn’t sense the impact of this sea area on them, only feeling a tremendous terror lurking below.

Exotic Beasts didn’t understand cultivation. Their way of advancing was to eat well, sleep well, and fight! Only those at the six or seven-star level or those who had stepped into the Mysterious Moon realm would consciously increase their abilities, just like a camel entering the second Mysterious Moon realm with sorrow.

Ignoring the urging of the lead whale, the whale group fled towards the sea surface one after another, emerging from the sea not far from the small island.

This was the instinct of marine Exotic Beasts. If there was a crisis in the deep sea, they would flee to the islands. If there was a crisis in the shallow sea, they would flee to the deep sea.

Tiger whales could also be hunted, not all tiger whales were six-star.

In this tiger whale group, only the lead whale was six-star, the strongest of the rest was only four-star, and there were only seven or eight Exotic Beasts in total. The remaining dozen or so were ordinary tiger whales.

Of course, the advantage of their race was that ordinary tiger whales could fight back and forth with other one-star or even two-star Exotic Beasts.

Feng Yaya sat on the highest rock, swinging her little feet contentedly while devouring a large piece of tiger meat. Life was better with Green Snake around, who could extract salt from seawater.

When a green wolf came, Feng Yaya immediately pulled her little feet back, sitting in a big horse stance with a golden knife. Her blood-stained armor shimmered with murderous intent in the firelight. The helmet was taken off and placed aside, the missing half of the helmet ear made the cruelty of war even more apparent.

Hundreds of Exotic Beasts, if really put into the mortal world, might not be able to cause the extinction of a nation, but it wouldn’t be difficult to cause a catastrophe.

Feng Yaya’s gaze fell on the sea surface through the thick fog. A group of tiger whales were swimming on the sea. Looking at them one by one, she didn’t see her family’s big fish.

New faces, enemies!

Just like the Barbarian King that Green Snake talked about, just after unifying her own tribe, other tribes came knocking on the door. She had just begun to subdue this small island, and the big fish group attacked.

This was war!

Feng Yaya had no fear at all, but rather a sense of urgency. She threw away the tiger meat in her hand, put on her helmet, picked up her bone club, and waved it towards the sea: “Ah!”

She was the first to jump down, kicking a wild boar that was trying to steal food, and then mounted the boar. The wild boar was still confused, but it had already instinctively rushed in the direction Feng Yaya pointed with her bone club. The other Exotic Beasts hurriedly swallowed their food and followed the charge.

The thick fog made it impossible to see the road, they could only run following the sound of the hooves of the king’s mount.

“Roar!”

“Ang!”

“Owooo!”

……

Then, with a splash, they all fell into the sea. They were all land Exotic Beasts, none of them were good swimmers, and in an instant, they were all in disarray.

But Feng Yaya had already charged into the whale group with her boar.

The boar underneath her was squealing, charging at the whale group, and then suddenly lost its voice.

One, two……

The wild boar couldn’t count, it just knew that the whole world was full of tiger whales. The memory of being slapped away by a tiger whale during the day surged up again, and fear instantly enveloped its heart.

Shivering, it dived underwater and turned around to run.

Leaving Feng Yaya alone in the sea. Feng Yaya held her bone club without fear, jumped onto a four-star tiger whale, and was about to punch it.

Just then, the sound of “Wow, wow” came from a distance. It was the lead whale cursing the group of tiger whales with a mouthful of swear words.

It sounded familiar, it was her family’s six-star big fish.

Feng Yaya and the whale looked at each other, and Feng Yaya pouted in disappointment. It turned out it wasn’t a war.

Then she became happy again. The big fish’s family had come, so she could take her army to attack other islands!

Feng Yaya laughed happily, jumping around on the tiger whale, from this one to that one, laughing happily as she returned to the island.

Then came the screams of the wild boar being slaughtered.

Deserters were killed and eaten.

The frog squatted by the sea, tilting its body to look at the whale group. These whales were obviously not here to join Feng Yaya, they were heading for the Dragon Turtle.

Were they going to join the Dragon Turtle as a whole group? The Dragon Turtle from three thousand years ago hadn’t even subdued a group of tiger whales.

This little Dragon Turtle… had it advanced after absorbing the pearl in its shell?

The frog’s eyes lit up.

Behind him came the seductive voice of the snake head military adviser: “Little General, it’s not so easy to fight across the sea. We need to train. How do these many Exotic Beasts get on and off the whales? It’s easy to say if we win, but what if we lose? How do we retreat quickly?”

Feng Yaya tilted her head, her face full of disbelief. Could this thing lose? Feng Yaya never loses!

The frog was happy to hear this and jumped into the sea, swimming towards the direction the tiger whales came from.

Compared to conquering the islands, it was more important to leave this small world. Go and see how far the Dragon Turtle has advanced, try to ask for a drop of True Blood, at worst promise to introduce a soul beast to him after getting out.

The frog was old, and all the friends it knew were soul beasts that had lived for thousands of years, at least all of them were third-grade. The Dragon Turtle was going to make a fortune!

Following the direction the whales came from, all the way down, deep into the sea, before reaching the sea bottom, the Dragon Turtle’s might came surging over with the sea water.

The fish and shrimp around were careful not to approach. The toad’s eyes lit up, indeed, it had advanced!

Although this aura was not strong, it was incredibly pure, much purer than the one from three thousand years ago. The toad sped up, its body flickering through the seawater. A flash of blue lightning appeared ahead, landing accurately beside Su He several times in succession.

Su He closed his eyes and cultivated peacefully.

The toad circled around him a few times, extending its claws to feel the aura of the Dragon Turtle emanating from Su He. A grin gradually spread across its face.

That’s right, although it was not as dominant as his old friend, it was indeed purer.

Having absorbed the turtle bead, this little Dragon Turtle was one step closer than his old friend. This could be considered as fulfilling an old friend’s wish.

The toad searched around, but the turtle shell was nowhere to be found.

It paused, had this little devil absorbed the turtle shell as well? Did it know about the Dragon Turtle’s domineering nature of carrying mountains? This was too much. That was the remains of a predecessor of the same race!

Was it enough to just absorb the bloodline and leave nothing behind?

It closed its eyes to sense, and after a moment, it opened them and found it. It was still in the place where the Dragon Turtle usually cultivated. It seemed that Little Turtle still had a conscience.

The toad teleported towards the turtle shell. Now that his old friend’s wish was fulfilled, it was time to collect the turtle shell and find a place to bury it.

After several flashes, it landed on the earthy yellow turtle shell. The toad raised its claw to press on the shell, intending to shrink it, but suddenly noticed something. Confusion flashed in its eyes. It jumped down and crawled into the shell, looking up to see the round turtle bead hanging in the center of the shell, its interior overflowing with colorful lights.

The bloodline inheritance had not diminished in the slightest.

The Dragon Turtle hadn’t refined any of the turtle bead at all!

How was that possible?!

The toad croaked in shock, its voice breaking.

Its breathing became rapid, disbelief replacing the astonishment in its eyes. It had seen the little Dragon Turtle, its flesh and blood purity was not high, not even reaching twenty percent. How could it awaken the Dragon Turtle’s aura without absorbing the turtle bead?

This small world was related to the Divine Beast Dragon Turtle. In the outside world, twenty percent of flesh and blood was enough to make Hundreds of Beasts submit, but here, the resistance of the Hundreds of Beasts to the Dragon Turtle had increased.

Without the pure aura of the Dragon Turtle, they would definitely not submit.

This… this…

It had advanced and awakened the Dragon Turtle’s aura on its own!
